Workbook Lessons Commentary

In this new group I hope to provide a space for all to express RESPONSES TO STUDYING the lessons. The image is "Head of a Clown" by Zoffrea. It holds for me the symbolic meaning of the unreality of the body level.

Lesson 151. This lesson is worth spending a lot of time reading and quietly thinking about the intended meaning – in my own experience I had difficulty with getting hung up on certain words, like…Continue

Response to Lesson 43

Oh, the waking up between learning to laugh at thoughts of fear, depression, guilt -

- the waking up in learning to respond to all experiences of discomfort with acknowledging the need for a miracle, by remembering the frequent remembrances each day -

- the waking up in learning that I need the Holy Spirit to guide me to my own happiness, for the ego's version of my life is nothing but an uncomfortable dream -

And instead, to have light, love, inspiration, being uplifted, hearing from a friend unexpectedly, all this has the power of God in it, and therefore - I slowly, slowly, gently, repeat the lesson each instant I remember to do that.

In the NOW, in present time, in this instant, this moment, I step back from misery, even for an instant, and want to open my mind to God's Presence, and ask for Help. Help is with me always, and is there but for the asking, and it comes immediately.

Now God is my Source! Wow, nothing else is real, nothing exists beside this. I need a shammy for the mirror of my mind, to clean it, and polish it gently with love until my perception is healed.

Perception then is what I think is real. But when thoughts of grief, loss, fear are clouding the mirror, all is dark.

I need God's Presence in my Life so much more powerfully than I could ever imagine until now.

And now I go into stillness, and quiet comes immediately.
Now I go into smiling - and my body chemistry changes along with it.
Now I go into confidence, and strength, for all life is of God, Who is Love, Who is spirit, on ALL levels of life and Spirit; the lowly and the absolute.

When I say: I cannot see without God - it means that:
unless my mind is in a God-like state of love, I cannot see at all.

Above all else I want to see! Oh, yes!

Hi Thulananda, Thank you for starting this group. What a beautiful commentary. I read it in paltalk on the radio. Others expressed their appreciation as well. "God is my strength. Vision is His gift." I have a renewed commitment this time around with the lessons. Experiencing God's Presence - Grace - even for an instant ... renews me. How beautiful your words: "Now God is my Source! Wow, nothing else is real, nothing exists beside this. I need a shammy for the mirror of my mind, to clean it, and polish it gently with love until my perception is healed." Thank you Thulananda! Love, Ruby

Hi Ruby
Am very grateful that this new inspiration has found such lovely outlet immediately!
Is there an email address for this group I can use to post to it directly? Or do I need to log in and sign in? I hope all others who experience a level of inspiration directly related to study of the lessons will contribute. Is there a way we can invite all members?
And thank you for this help.
Much,much love and appreciation
