Tolle's brilliance

Just tonight I watched and read the quotes from the powerpoint presentation with quotes by Eckhardt Tolle. Immediately it was my time to meditate, and immediately my mind was filled with light. I could see where my ego resisted truth and where my spirit already acknowledges the truth that all are entitled to miracles, love, respect, appreciation, validation and care. Now old memories of pain are touched with a new thought: that once, were I thought I was wronged, I was really love, and I did not…See More

Temple Time (2)

Each evening, quietly, I seek to findThe Peace of God in my own mind,And then to see my mind's resourceSo squandered in distraction's force. The Temple Time tonight was changedBecause the Mind that loves me cameAnd took mine fully in it chargeAnd newly bade me 'Welcome Home.'Then time just disappeared, and thoughMy thoughts still flitted to and froThe wonder of the Peace that cameSo far outstripped the sad refrain:Oh, no, not good enough, again ...And day by day did pass me byUntil tonight! and…See More

On creative writing

Sometimes I have to read what I write in order to know what I think. This phrase is not an original one, (Anthony Flew wrote it) but I fully know the meaning. This works for more 'acceptable' modes of self-expression as well; at times I do not know what I think until I speak it in public and then reap the consequences of possible rejection and self-doubt.Writing for me is very therapeutic in the sense that if given over to the Holy Spirit, parts of me that were hidden become like flowers…See More

we grow together - a poem

As uncried tears slowly seem to slide down
remembering our intensity of intimacy
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

As Sweet Beloved shares in us together with Heaven
while our life in the world was such hell:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

In the absence of hope is faith restored
in timeless surrender to Spirit, Sweet Beloved:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

By yearning for more than this one life can hold
and letting go of ancient dreams, staying in the NOW
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

In patience we know there is more than we see
than what phantoms of projections would share:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

The love in our patience transcends our perception
and dreams of future times glow for tomorrow:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

In oneness of love and heart and in liberty of spirit
in knowing of choosing between heaven or hell
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

In sadness of goodbyes is found a bringing out of
lasting endurance of time and of space, waiting:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

In oneness, nothing is separate, logically,
in unity, the Whole is joined to the tiniest part:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance:

as it is with us, so it is now and will be with all.

Hello Friend,
How nice to get your invitation. Although my physical friend Marilyn (she lives a few miles from here) has told me about this wonderful site, I certainly need to learn how to navigate my way with the processes of sending and receiving messages. Please be patient with a new neighbor.
You seem to live in an exciting part of the world (even though "there is no world"). I have been moved by the pictures of the Koala bear who was rescued from the fire...sent to a rehab center...and has now found her own version of a "holy relationship". She and her new friend have brought tears of relief and happiness to many around the globe as we watch their lives together unfold.
It's about 6:30 pm here in Sherwood Park (just east Edmonton... the capital city of the province of Alberta...here in Canada). Our winter (complete with a lot of snow and ice) is just in the early stages of ending. It will keep ending for the next two months before we finally get some really nice outdoor weather. I'll send you some pics once the leaves come out.
Please tell me a bit about yourself and your part of the (no) world. If you need a character reference, please connect with Marilyn. We've been workmates and friends for a long time.
Cheers,
John M
