Some thoughts arising - Lesson 151

Lesson 151. This lesson is worth spending a lot of time reading and quietly thinking about the intended meaning – in my own experience I had difficulty with getting hung up on certain words, like ‘echoes’ which are meant here in the figurative sense, of course.  The thing about spirit is – it’s that it is not at all concerning material aspects. What does apply is that all things are open to the Love of God, through your own inner real self.  Through our spirit we are always in touch with the…See More

Oh beautiful love

Oh beautiful love of God that dwells in Christwhere all are and live and have their beingwhere an old grievance is replaced by rich lovetrue and real in spiritwonderful to know and live and be.We are! - and a song arises rich in melodyNot ignoring the somber tones of learningBut including all, this forms a line that liftsThe mind into eternity. And with this lifting is all let go, and a rhythmic bass continueswhile angels sing in descantand each heart becomes like a sunshining forever out. Much…See More

Some thoughts arising from Review II of the workbook

Each hour I have the opportunity to renew my state of mind with the Spirit and receive correction in the form of endless love. What do I do with all this love? I soak it up, and watch my mind, for it is not under my solitary control; this is the love of God through Christ or Buddha or Ganesh or Shiva - whatever name God has, He or She is always love. Yet surrounding and within all these names of God, there is the Source that He is, Who created them in love with His Son. Aspects of creation are…See More

we grow together - a poem

As uncried tears slowly seem to slide down
remembering our intensity of intimacy
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

As Sweet Beloved shares in us together with Heaven
while our life in the world was such hell:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

In the absence of hope is faith restored
in timeless surrender to Spirit, Sweet Beloved:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

By yearning for more than this one life can hold
and letting go of ancient dreams, staying in the NOW
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

In patience we know there is more than we see
than what phantoms of projections would share:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

The love in our patience transcends our perception
and dreams of future times glow for tomorrow:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

In oneness of love and heart and in liberty of spirit
in knowing of choosing between heaven or hell
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

In sadness of goodbyes is found a bringing out of
lasting endurance of time and of space, waiting:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance.

In oneness, nothing is separate, logically,
in unity, the Whole is joined to the tiniest part:
we grow together, in freedom and deliverance:

as it is with us, so it is now and will be with all.

Hello Friend,
How nice to get your invitation. Although my physical friend Marilyn (she lives a few miles from here) has told me about this wonderful site, I certainly need to learn how to navigate my way with the processes of sending and receiving messages. Please be patient with a new neighbor.
You seem to live in an exciting part of the world (even though "there is no world"). I have been moved by the pictures of the Koala bear who was rescued from the fire...sent to a rehab center...and has now found her own version of a "holy relationship". She and her new friend have brought tears of relief and happiness to many around the globe as we watch their lives together unfold.
It's about 6:30 pm here in Sherwood Park (just east Edmonton... the capital city of the province of Alberta...here in Canada). Our winter (complete with a lot of snow and ice) is just in the early stages of ending. It will keep ending for the next two months before we finally get some really nice outdoor weather. I'll send you some pics once the leaves come out.
Please tell me a bit about yourself and your part of the (no) world. If you need a character reference, please connect with Marilyn. We've been workmates and friends for a long time.
Cheers,
John M
